The TCC International Centre for Innovation, Manufacturing, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (TCC-CIMET), in partnership with Make 24 under the 24-hour economy initiative, have advanced conversations on the establishment of the M-Tech Park.

The Machinery Technology Park (M-Tech Park) is designed to develop machinery tailored to Ghana’s unique farming conditions, providing a central space for prototyping, testing, and commercialization.

By linking academia, local fabricators, MSMEs, cooperatives, and industrial partners, M-Tech Park strengthens the national agro-industrial value chain while promoting sustainable practices such as scrap metal recycling and resource efficiency.

Beyond technology, the park focuses on people offering training, certification, and incubation programs to build technical and managerial skills, empowering communities, and supporting Ghana’s broader agro-industrial development.

This collaboration is designed to create a fully functional, round-the-clock innovation ecosystem where research, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship thrive without pause. By leveraging the principles of the 24-hour economy, the partnership aims to ensure that the M-Tech Park becomes a hub of continuous productivity, attracting startups, technology firms, and academic institutions.

Through this initiative, TCC-CIMET and Make 24 are set to begin comprehensive feasibility studies for the program, assessing the technical, economic, and operational requirements for the M-Tech Park. These studies will guide the development of infrastructure, innovation hubs, and incubation programs, ensuring that the park meets the needs of local farmers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners while fostering a sustainable, 24-hour innovation ecosystem.
