TCC-CIMET, in collaboration with the Engineering Council and the Suame Magazine Industrial Development Organization (SMIDO), will deliver a series of interactive, practice-oriented training sessions for artisans at Suame Magazine, alongside selected students from technical institutions and universities across Ghana.

The program is designed to strengthen the interface between traditional craftsmanship and modern manufacturing systems by equipping participants with practical knowledge in manufacturing standards, quality assurance processes, certification requirements, and contemporary production practices. Through hands-on demonstrations and digital learning tools, participants will gain exposure to innovation-driven approaches that enhance product quality, safety, and competitiveness.

Additionally, the program will enlighten participants on the Government’s Workplace Experiential Learning (WEL) initiative, highlighting its objectives, opportunities, and relevance in promoting structured industry-based learning, skills development, and stronger collaboration between academia and industry.
